Not that the warranty won't be honored, but Pontiac is probably not going to be around much longer. And so, that G8 will be worth less than usual when it comes time to sell the car later on or trade it in.
Get the Subaru. At least their cars are reliable, and they hold their value well for being a non-luxury car. Plus a lot more after-market stuff for that STi available.
