...G8? it got a 365 hp v8, its fast, kool, can most importantly its clean, now should i let them do anything in it other then riding in it?

NO WAY!! I just got a GTO and would freak if my son tried eating or drinking in the car! I don't even drive the car unless it is a nice day and the streets don' t have left over yuk from the winter weather. It stays in the garage

It's only a Pontiac. Let them eat and be happy. Now if it were my Mercedes, that's a different story...

You do know they make stuff like Windex, and a Shop-Vac to clean the inside of a car, don't you??

I have a fully restored 1969 Pontiac GTO...immaculate inside and out. My kids ride in it all the time...they love it!! And yes, they eat in it. Why don't you try to get them to *help* you clean the car?? That will teach them that they have to clean up their own messes.

Randy R....do yourself a favor. Get a vasectomy so that you don't make any more kids..With your sucky attitude, you don't need any more!

You actually have to ask?

Kids are not allowed in a new car. Unless you don't mind they throwing up in it, trashing the interior and hand prints on the windows.

God, I won't even be seen in public with my kids..
I wish I could put them up for adoption

They don't need to eat in it stop and eat some where's or take the food home kids don't need to eat every minute they do need real meals and that's not in a car.

That's why god invented tables.
For you to put your food on, and eat off of.

Generally, I would say no. But it depends.

If you have a hungry toddler, they may not understand, "Sweetie, daddy wants to keep the car clean. Let's wait til we get home." At that sort of age, sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and give them a snack. Also, if you are stuck in rush-hour traffic with starving kids, for some reason, then i would prob. make an exception.

Sometimes people find it easier to shut up kids fighting in a car with food. :) But that's an easy out, and not in any way necessary!

I understand wanting to keep your beautiful car pristine. Good luck with that... Be strong. :)

If they're drinking or eating something that won't stain or ruin your car, let them be. Drinking water is fine, maybe eating cheerios.

But I wouldn't let my kids (if I had any) have like lasagna or a frozen smoothie or anything like that.

And like GTO judge said, if they make a mess, have them clean it up.

haha, I agree....and if you spend enough time in a car with toddlers you learn to tune out most of the whining they do about everything and the fighting!! (mine are 18 months apart) there's always some "mom!! she's touching me!! mom he took my toy!!" haha
I have an '04 Grand Prix GT1 at the moment, but plan on trading up to a G8 this year...I have no problem with the kids eating easy to clean stuff in the car on long trips (we travel to NY and back about 3-4 times a year), anything that can be vaccuumed is fine...but if its a short trip, or we go somewhere to pick up food, just "wait til we get home!" :D
