I am 17 years old. This is going to be my first car and i want it to look sporty. Should i save up the money for a full body kit for my new used car? Or will it look lame and be a waste of money??

I have never liked any of the body kits for the Grand Am. Of course its your call in the end and make sure you remember that it is something you will have to live with for the life of the car most likely. The other thing to think of is, would the body kit already come painted? or is it primer and you need to paint. I make fun of everyone i see that goes down the road with bumpers in one color and the car in another. Buying a body kit you should also make the expense for paint.
Another option to go which is the route i prefer is to dump into a sound system. With how much we are in our cars today it doesn't make since to listen to crap. I have a full HD set up at home and i like hearing that quality even if im not at home. So i got a sound system for my ride. I am running 12 speakers and 2 12in kicker comp VX with 6000 watts total in the car. I have the DVD in dash player along with the PS2 for gaming.

Just my thoughts but i personally dont care if my car looks fast. I'll drive by you slow as can be making sure you feel my vibrations and people always look to see who is bumping just like people always look at the car that looks fast.
The grand am is slow. No need to give off the appearance of anything different.
