Is it true the bolts for these cars are not supposed to be used twice, but rather replaced each time they are removed?

Never heard of that for brakes.
It's common on parts for the engine (notably the cylinder heads) that require an exact distributed torque to prevent warping.... but no reason for brakes to use single-bolt. Just more of a hassle for brake shops. Brakes aren't torqued far enough to stretch the bolts, ever.

Simple enough, go to your local auto parts store and ask. They'll look up the brake hardware, and if it says TTY (Torque-to-Yield) or Replacement Recommended..... then they're single-use.
