Hi all. I have just taken my '93 Sunbird off the road as the engine died and I will be using it for parts for my Mint '89 Sunbird.
I just tried to siphon the tank using the old age tube method, but as I thought it must have a siphon theft deterrent as I was unable to siphon.

Any ideas? I am thinking I may have to disconnect the line under the car by the fuel filter.

Thanks

disconnect the line and if you have power turn the key to the run position so that the pump works

Hi Doug, thanks for the YouTube link, but that won't work as my car has a theft proof design. When I put the hose into the tank and blow I hear no bubble, even when the hose is pushed all the way in.

Sorry Stephan ( was worth a try) , Looks like your going to have to crawl under the back of the car and disconnect the fuel filter then.

If you have some of those drive up ramps, its alot eaiser just to back up on them to get to it....... thats if it still can drive up them...........;)
