sometimes car bogs

I have a 1996 firebird and it will drive fine then out of nowhere the car bogs(sputters) then it will snap out of it and run fine. I put in a new tps and maf sensor the fuel pump died so I put in a new one and I also put in a new fuel pressure regulator. Does anyone have any idea what's causing this. There's nothing set in stone it happens when the engines hot or cold. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

when you replaced the fuel system parts did you also replace the fuel filter? do you have a check engine light? If this is an LT1 engine they are known to have an issue with the Optispark distributor, you can google for more details, GM had a fix for this issue.

My check engine light is on and has 2 codes 1st is p0102 ( mass or volume air flow circuit low input) 2nd is p1441 ( evap system flow during non-purge) how do I tell if I have a lt1 engine and optispark.

If it's 8 cylinder it's an LT1, resolve your code issues, did you try replacing the gas cap for the second one?

It's the 6 cylinder I looked over the post on the codes and it makes sense (sort of) so I'm gonna research what they mean and try to figure something out. No I didn't put on a new gas cap would that be a good idea or is there a way to test it

The tester is hundreds of dollars, cheapest thing to do is buy a new cap. If that doesnt work than you need a smoke test to find the source of the evap. code.
