If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Just tieing up some loose ends and I'll be driving home black 04 Grand Prix GTP, a great performance sedan for us northeast all weather condition drivers :)

Here's some pictures I took at the dealer:

More about myself:
Well I'm 19 and have been sharing a 98 Deville with my father for awhile now (you can see it in the pictures parked next to the grand prix). Have been a member of www.caddyinfo.com and www.cadillacowners.com. Stumbled upon your site by simply typing in "pontiacowners.com". The sticker on the car is less than half what it was new so low resale isn't always a bad thing :)

Decided to check out used Pontiac's based on what I heard about the 3800 engine and also the Grand Prix has always caught my eye. A guy I worked for has a 39 Pontiac Street Rod so that was another motivation. Now with the solstice out and G8 it motivated me to take a look at the used Pontiac market and see what driving excitement they offered. This Grand Prix appears to be the model that marked a change for Pontiac, for the better it appears.

I plan on getting Factory Service Manuals from helm at some point, and as I learn more about the vehicle I hope i can be a valuable contributer to this community.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up! The GTP is a really nice car! And Pontiac is getting better and better.. These next few years are going to be great for Pontiac..

How's everything going with the GTP so far?

all is well, except for an overhead map light leak, seems to be from the onstar antenna, taking it in under warranty AGAIN as the first time the said it was just the sun roof drain plugs, but a few rain storms later and still water coming in.

So far I am loving the 3800 SC, the BF Goodrich COMP T/As in their current state are less than desirable, especially in the wet. Dealer has jerked me around a bit on them, they are dry-rotted a bit, dealer has refused to replace. I'm going to give them one more shot on the tires. Claims they were in "plain sight" even though dealer says they replace any with 50% or less tread life. Keep giving my a song and dance about "performance tires have less tread depth" 50% is 50% in my book.

I have the same problem with my '04 Grand prix gt2! Ugh I was wondering what was causing that.. It only happens when it rains to excess for a very long period of time. I need to get that fixed..
