Hello all, new to this forum , but not new to Pontiac Firebirds. I am looking for a correct decal (paper label) for my early space saver spare inflator bottle. The bottle is an extruded aluminum one in the cardboard tube, PMD# 984874. This was installed as a dealer option when the car was purchased new. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, MS

Have you tried amesperf.com, opgi.com, Classic Industries and other Pontiac vendors?

Yes I have; most only carry the "red bottle" parts and later. Nobody has had any reference for the PMD# 984874 inflator. I have purchased a reproduction label for my GM# 9789422 inflator; which goes to my 68 Camaro. Two identical inflator bottles, different labels.

I am looking "Rick" or "Tom68firebird" from the firstgenerationfirebiird.org forum to help me out with the PMD# 984874 inflator reproduction label.

Thanks, MS

The car is a 1967 Pontiac Firebird OHC6 that my mom purchased new in 1967. I was present at the time and suggested that she get the space save spare tire option (dealer installed). The Pontiac inflator is pn# 984874; Pontiac number, not GM. I have the space saver tire and the inflator that came with the car. I am looking fora reproduction paper label (decal) that says Pontiac on it. Search the internet, and you will find a picture of it.

Thanks, MS
