Hi everyone! I came here in the hopes that I could get some help with my Pontiac.
I have a 2002 Sunfire GT and it is manual.
I bought the car in mid-November, and it stalls/dies when i decelerate and come to a stop.
It does this EVERY time I drive it, and will keep doing it until the engine warms up (or after 15-20 minutes of driving)
I hit the brake and push the clutch in to put it in neutral (or just hold the clutch and keep it in first if its just for a short stop) and right as I do that, the RPM drops extremely low and it dies. It will start right back up if I turn the ignition again and give it gas.
I've tried doing research about this problem but I'm not finding much. I'm taking it to get an oil change and new oil filter tomorrow. The only thing that I've replaced on it is the O2 sensor.
My Check Engine Light IS on.
