Steering arm/wheelbearing help 2004 sunfire

I am replacing my wheel bearing hub and i wanted to know if i can use a wire brush grinding wheel on an angle grinder to clean up the rust on my steering arm or if it will cause any damage

I was using a wire brush but it was taking forever and i am lazy
i want to make sure i wont break anything

So a spray can of rustoleum rust reformer would be perfect. You would have it done in less time than it takes to type these emails and you wont have to do it again a year from now.
