hey need some help my steering coumn is so lose its like i can hand it to the passenger whats a way to fix this its not the whole column more like the tophalf by the wheel itself

There are 3 bolts that have nylon sleeves/washers that wear out and cause the loose column issue. To repair it you need to remove the steering wheel and work your way down the column (remove horn, ignition switch, turn signal switch, etc.) to get to the bolts which are near where the column tilts. Then use metal washers and some lock-tite on the nuts. Install and torque bolts, reassemble the column and all is good.

If you want instead of using metal washers, they have one type that you can pick-up at any Kragens called "liquid washer", they are metal washers that actually act almost like rubber, odd to see them work but I've noticed they give a good solid grip and seal well.

kool thanks for the help workin my down the column is not to hard tough is it i mean its just a one day job right
