Stereo has no sound, no display, but buttons work. HELP

Hello, I have a a 2008 Pontiac torrent,
Yesterday the stereo was working fine, then this morning the display was just black, I kept pushing the power button for the stereo but nothing happened the only thing that works is the eject button for cd's

Check fuse #14 and #17 in the instrument panel fuse box.
Beyond that the wire harness connecting to the radio would have to be checked or there is an internal problem with the radio.
