If you don't know, I own a 1986 SE 2M6; all stock. I'm looking to install the 5 speed to save on gas; going 70 at 2800rpm is a bummer. My question is, what do I get to look forward to? Is this going to fit like a glove with no modification? Are there better 5+ speed manual transmissions that require little work? What about price?

Cannot tell you cost because it varies depending on the cost of the trans. You will need the 5-spd trans, 5-spd shifter and cables, and the 5-spd slave cylinder for the clutch.
