My wife went to start her car this morning and man was it loud. I went out there to take a look and noticed a 2-3 foot section of exhaust missing, however I believe they left behind the catalytic converter? Is there anything in front of the o2 sensor worth value, or was this just plain malicious?

If they left behind the convertor that doesnt make sense, it didnt rust out?
