Hello im new here to the forums.

I have a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2l SFI

Yesterday my car through a cluster light that seems to be like a low fluid light.

Looks something like this

It went away after 1 min and didnt come on after that.

I thought it was a coolant leak but my car wasnt overheating so I just ignored it.

When i got home i parked the car and turned it off and i heard a noise like fluid was leaking somewhere and i looked under the car and..

I found a lots of coolant leaking under the car. It kept leaking alot.

I tried to open the hood to get to the engine bay but the hood was too dam hot to open so i waited for it to cool down.

After about an hour of waiting I opened hood and it looked like the Coolant was spitting out of the coolant jug. It seemed to me like it was overflowing and spitting out all the extra coolant that would be caused by overheating through the overflow hose.

Any advice or suggestions on why the car might have been spitting out all the coolant?
