Sunfire 2003 New Owner Questions

Hi everyone! I just bought a 2003 Sunfire with a 3 month warranty (for $3,200 - not too bad I hope), and have a few 'newbie' questions.

It's a fun little car to drive and the hawk like nose is quite nice

1. How can I tell if I have ABS? I see no ABS light, just 'BRAKE' when I ignite. If it isn't fitted, can it be added as an option by a dealer without too much hassle?
2. The dealer supplied 2 metal keys, and no remote fob. 1 key opens the doors, the other starts the ignition. Bit odd. Furthermore opening the driver's door lock doesn't unlock the passenger door - I have to press the unlock button on the inside of the door to unlock the passenger door also (it has central locking, just not via the key). Weird. Please explain.
3. Can I add remote, central locking by just buying a key fob off eBay and maybe another doobrey?
4. Hmm the cigar lighter doesn't charge my GPS SatNav. Is this a common fault and can power be easily restored to it?

did you buy it from a GM dealer, if so they can tell you every option the car has.
1. If you see no ABS light you dont have it and it's not a dealer installed option
2. When you unlock the drivers door with a key it will not automatically open the passenger door.
3. check with the dealer, if he's GM, about the key fob
4. plug something else in to see if you have a blown fuse, the GPS should charge

Thanks, it wasn't a GM dealer but I'll try to take it to one.

1. Okay, I guess I have no way to get ABS then.
2. Is the best way to attain central remote locking to get an after-market 3rd party kit installed?

5. New question! Is there any way to convert manual windows to electric windows?

I think it would take some rewiring through he door to convert to electric windows and probably would not be worth it. My cig lighter has stopped working several times over the years and its the fuse which is a simple fuse. I also know if you buy a remote off of ebay you still have to get a dealer to program it for you to your car.
