Driving at 65mpg car died won't start only cranks HELP!

Have someone scan the car to see if its something computer controlled.

Have someone check your fuel pressure.

My hubby is pretty sure it's the timing chain..it's backfiring out of the throttle body

I do need to know how to set the timing on it are the dots up and down or across from each other?

Broken Camshaft? Bent Valves?

Timing chain replaced, perfectly in time. Replaced fuel pump and relay working, when you turn it over it's still backfiring thru the throttle body. All the valves appear to be working when you try to start it then when it's sitting there are 7 of 8 rockers are loose.

is this the how you set the timing chain and gears and did you replace the tensioner components?
