honestly mine was doing that and i ended up changeing the waterpump and thermostat and then it started smokeing and took it in and i had a blown head gasket i hope thats not true cuz that expensive time consumeing work, 4 cylinders have an aluminum block that if it gets to hot warps the best way to tell this is to check your oil and if it has little bubbles in it you have a blow head gasket, it has watter in it.
Try and pull any check engine light codes.. I would assume its either air or fuel related. Your fuel pump may be going out.... how does it run while its started?.. before it dies?
