Supercharged transport?

I have a 92 transport with the 3800 V6 as a third car. It has 120k for miles and has served us well.

The past few weeks I been thinking about adding a supercharger to the 3800 just to see how it would handle it. I found facotry uints for the 3800 can be picked up cheap.

So, Im looking for input on the idea. How much would i need to change?

I suggest you rebuild the motor first.

Easiest way to do it would be swapping in a whole 3800 series II with supercharger and the wiring. Unless you really want to try for a custom tune which is spendy usually.

Try 3800pro.com I think it is. There is a handfull of them like yours as well as the 99 on up ones. Its not terribly tough as far as swaps go. Its reminiscent of honda swaps to me. Just a few wires need to be moved around a bit.
