My 1986 Trans Am has checkered tail light but the checkered grill inside start to be unglued from the clean lens, i've been able to split the lens from the tailight assembly but the checkered part is glued and not removable from the clear lens.

I made research around for any tip but i find nothing, i think of 2 possible way to fix : 1 - make a decal sticker from outside the lens or 2 - spill a clear coat inside the lens and wish that glue fill all unglued part ?

I need tips on this if somebody as been trough that problem and find a way to fix this !!

Thanks
Ian

Search some salvage yards for a better-condition replacement. If that fails, maybe call Hawk's Third Gen Parts.
