Hi everyone. I'm new to the Site & so glad I stumbled upon it. My mom passed in 2011 and I have her Aztek. I thought I had gathered all the accessories prior to having it shipped only to discover I forgot the tent somehow. I'm really hoping to find one for sale in this forum. Pretty Please With Sugar On Top😊

I scored mine from Ebay about 5 years ago for about $100 including shipping. It was in new condition and never opened. I checked Ebay every 2 to 4 weeks to see if anyone had Listed one, for reasonable price in good condition, and eventually scored. There are copycat offbrands of tents that are advertised to fit the Aztek, but nothing compares to the GM original! Do you already have the GM part number for the tent? That helped me in my online search. Wish you lots of luck. I'm want the sliding cargo tray and hoping to score again!

Hi SweetAztekMa'ma, Thanks for the info. I never thought about ebay & I do not have the GM part number for the tent. I hope I eventually have some luck locating an actual Aztek Tent, bcz I have everything else that mom had with the car. I wish you luck & Happy Hunting for your Sliding Cargo Tray🙂

Sorry that's like a massive photo on my screen - I uploaded from my phone but using the PC to type, so I'm not sure how it's presenting to the world. Anywho, I wanted to show you the two plastic support thingy's that come with the tent. They are supposed to just simply pop on to the metal rod of the extended hydraulic arms that lift the rear window upward. However, in my experience, once "simply popped" on, they were very difficult to remove. So we warmed them over and reshaped new flared openings on one end of each support, to give my delicate hands more leverage to be able to get them on and off. The purpose of these plastic supports is to lock the rear window upward in place to then support the tent and to keep the whole shebang from crashing down on you. I do not know the correct term for the plastic supports, I'm sorry.
I looked in my tent bag today for the GM Part number, and I noticed that the Tent originally came as a combo package with the mattress - I didn't realize that. I thought everything was a la carte. I don't have the mattress. If I ever run across one in decent shape for fair shake, I'll bite though.

Happy hunting!! You've got to let everyone know when you score though. :)

You are THE BOMB!!! 🙂Thank you so much! I'll certainly post, if & when I finally score. I'm believing we'll both have success, bcz what's an Aztek without our Tent, Sliding Cargo Tray and our groovey Saddlebags??🤣 That's like being dressed and not having on any jewelry!!😂🤣

I have the set. Appears unused. GM part no 12489568. Shipped from Pontiac dealer. Email me at flast2252@gmail.com if interested.
Hi Lalevant. It's been quite awhile since I made that post regarding a tent etc. I really appreciate you responding, but it seems I won't need it after all. Unfortunately I may be selling my Aztek to anyone who might want to buy it for parts. I kinda got taken for a ride by a local mechanic who worked on it for me and I just don't have the money to do anything else to the Old Girl. Needless to say...I'm very bummed by the entire ordeal. 😞 Sorry for rant and thanks again.
