Is there a trick to getting this off? I have to do some work on my coolant system, and I know I'm going to need to take it off to fill it back up ... but the thing won't budge. I had to use a wrench to get the radiator cap off ... Glad I bought the oil filter wrench now, since I couldn't even get it to fit into the space for the oil filter but at least it came in handy on getting the radiator cap off .. I tried putting silicone grip gloves on and take the cap off ... tried pressing down but it just won't budge at all. Am I missing something??

It is very hard to turn, once it starts to turn it will come to a "stop", you will have to push down and turn at that point and it will come off.
Had mine off yesterday changing the thermostat, I thought I wasn't going to move it at first, and I'm pretty strong with big hands.
Remember, when you put it back on you MUST point the "Arrow" (on the cap) at the hose.
