Hello, New member here with a new/ used 2005 Grand Prix GT. Drove it about a month and a deer jumped in front of me shattering the bumper cover and crumpling the hood. I bought the new parts, had my local body shop paint the parts and I put it back together.
My problem is that when closing the hood it only latches on the first latch. I cannot get it to lock into main lower latch. Nothing appears to be bent or out of alignment. I tried to lock down the latch manually with a screwdriver to check function (like you can do with a door or tail gate latch) but it was very stiff and I could not get it to snap shut. Am I missing something here? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks ,
