• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hello, New member here with a new/ used 2005 Grand Prix GT. Drove it about a month and a deer jumped in front of me shattering the bumper cover and crumpling the hood. I bought the new parts, had my local body shop paint the parts and I put it back together.
My problem is that when closing the hood it only latches on the first latch. I cannot get it to lock into main lower latch. Nothing appears to be bent or out of alignment. I tried to lock down the latch manually with a screwdriver to check function (like you can do with a door or tail gate latch) but it was very stiff and I could not get it to snap shut. Am I missing something here? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks ,

Sounds like alignment issue, check with the body shop.
