Torque arms

I have a 1986 firebird with no torque arm. I was wondering what the difference between the automatic and manual torque arm mounts. And if I can use an automatic on a manual. Any info out there?

what gives you the idea there were two different types. Torque arm is number 48 in diagram and they have only one. Aftermarket shows only one type also.
