Torrent Roof Rack

I currently have a 2008 Torrent GXP without the roof rack. I have seen GXP's with the Torrent roof rack so I know I can add this option. What I would like to know is can the Equinox roof rack from the same year be used in place of the Torrent roof rack? They appear to have the same roof and the Equinox roof rack is a more sleek design. Also, any installation details would be great.

You would have to measue the two racks to determine if they are interchangeable.
