trac off light

I have a 2002 Sunfire with the regular 2.2l motor and ABS if that matters. The trac off light comes on every morning when I start the car and will stay on till I turn the car off. But if I drive the car a short ways and turn the car off and then back on the light will not come back on until the next morning. I have no other warning lights/ codes and the car seems to drive fine.
What could this be?

Also any know where the knock sensor is located?
 
Check the wheel sensor connections on all 4 hubs for a loose or corroded connection. The knock sensor should be below the exhaust manifold close to where the engine meets the transmission bell housing.
 
Thank you for the reply. What the chance you have a pic of the wheel sensor?
 
No go, the damn light keeps coming on and staying on till I turn the car off. then if I restart the car the light will go out. Any other ideas?
 
Find a shop with a ABS/ETC scanner to read the codes.
