transmission

I have Pontiac Grand am 2004 and I just installed a new CD player 3 days ago, I bought all the wires and stuff to do it right way, it works pretty good, all the lights on dashboard work.....but....today I was riding around and when I put it to drive or when it goes from first to second gear i feel vibration underneath....looks like something going on with transmission....does changing CD player have anything to do with it?

Probably totally unrelated, put the car on a lift and look for the source of the vibration.

hello! have a 2005 grand am with 90k miles. looking to do the service on it. never serviced the transmission. one shop told me they won't touch it because of that, as they had customers coming back with slipping transmissions. so should i have it done or not?

At that age, I'd change the fluid and filter, that's it.
