transmission

I pulled my transmission pan off today and this came down with it? its not the filter and the only thing it says on it is "push here" i cant get anyone in town to tell me what it is and all the transmission places are closed


its a 99 grand am 4 cyl

It resembles a transmission filter, get an autopart store to pull 1 for you to compare. It shouldn't have just fallen off.

If you go to the autozone or napa site and look up a transmission filter for this car, it looks nothing like the part in the picture.
