• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I'm building a 1970 455 pontiac engine. I'm debating on whether or not to go with the "6-pack" set up. I've heard alot of bad things about having to adjust them all the time. Other than just being cool, is there any reason to get them?

have you looked at the prices versus a single 4bbl set up? Depending on what you compare them to you would get better gas mileage if you are not a lead foot. Which 6-pack are you talking about, the original rochesters or holleys?

I haven't even started looking. Price isn't the MOST important thing right now. I'm more worried about functionality and having a badA## set up. I'm sure the Rochesters are very expensive and hard to come by. I want to be able to hop in start it up and drive to a show, or go cruising. 6 pack for the cool points, wouldn't hurt. How many people can say they have a sedan delivery with a 6 pack!!

I see no reason why they would be more difficult to adjust but you are not very specific as to whether you want a vacuum control set up for the end carbs or a mechanical linkage. The mechanical linkage would be the area where set up bcomes more difficult.

Now i'll have to start price shopping. Depending on availability, and price i'll have to make my decision. Vacuum would be the way to go. Thanks for all the help.....I'll be posting again soon, so many decisions....frame is next...
