Tried 2016 Equinox today, Prefer Torrent

Hi. I drive a 2008 Torrent. It's getting older, 165k. I need a rear wheel bearing, four rotors, and burning small amount of oil. A lot of stuff is getting iffy.

I drove an Equinox today, 4 cylinder, and wasn't that thrilled. I seem to prefer the suspension in my Torrent. I need a reliable vehicle and will likely replace this one soon... sticker is up this month, June.

I wondered if you guys could chime in on this.

Also, any thoughts on the Chevy Volt? I realize it's a different class, and smaller, but the hybrid gas mileage appeals to me. Thank you for any replies.

maybe you should try a 6 cylinder Equinox for a better comparison. You will have to do some research on the long term reliability of the Volt considering the complexity of the system.
