Troubleshooting: 1966 Lemans Windshield Washer not working

Dear Pontiac Lemans Forum,
Need help with troubleshooting the windshield washer not working on my 1966 Pontiac Lemans. When I press the windshield washer button on the wiper switch, nothing happens. I listen for any type of clicking at the motor or underneath the dashboard but no sound detected. I disconnected the rubber hoses for the windshield and blow air with my mouth to the reservoir and to the washer nozzles and all 3 hoses are clear, no obstructions. This leaves the switch, windshield washer pump and fuse? What would be the logical sequence of pinpointing where the issue is? Thank you

There is a solenoid that pulls on a cam follower. Did you remove the cover of the motor to see if the solenoid is pulling on the cam follower?
Do you have a copy of the 66 factory shop manual?

1. Do you mean the black rubber plastic which has 2 bolts attached to the wiper motor? You want me to remove that and put back the windshield washer pumps?

Look at picture 2, it shows the solenoid and arm.
Yes on the manual.

Yes I see picture 2 - the solenoid and arm. If I want to check if my pump is defective, I was planning to apply 12v on the leads of the washer pump. How would I identify which terminal is +12V and which one is ground?

What are the colors of the two wires that connect?

I found my 1966 Lemans Chassis Shop manual and saw the wiring diagram page.
I cropped out the wiring for the wiper and washer switch and the wiper motor and washer pump.
I traced the wires and color coded them.
Is this correct? The yellow wires supplies +12V to both wiper motor and windshield washer pump?
Then the washer switch simply grounds the circuit? Same for the wiper motor?

Yes, that is what the diagram is showing.
