Trunk divider panel

I recently purchased a '72 Lemans coupe, in great condition. I opened the trunk and noticed that there was not a trunk divider and I could see the rear seat from the trunk. I went on pysales.com and they have one, but it seems that is plastic. I was under the impression the were steel? If anyone has any info or feedback it would be appreciated.

you have steel cross braces and the divider panel fits over it. If you go to www.amesperf.com and look at part number K161A or K161B you will see the description
