Trunk Tension or Torsion Rods

I have a 1966 Pontiac Lemans with a trunk that has no tension or torsion rods.

Honestly don't even know the right term - is it tension rod or torsion rod?

Well if there are any '66 Lemans owners out there or simply people who know who can tell me how to install the trunk tension rods on my car that would be greatly appreciated.

Questions:
1. How many tension rods does a '66 Lemans trunk require? 2 or 3?
2. Are the tension rods directional? i.e., is there one front facing and the other rear facing?
3. Do you really need a tool to install the rods like the guy in the video?
4. Any guidance on installing would be great.

They are called torsion rods. Below is a link to someone who installed them on a Chevelle. Try www.frankspontiacparts.com for used. I believe looking at the trunk hinge there is only locations for 2 of them.
