OK, have checked all bulbs, replaced one side marker (194LL) bulb. All the 9157's are good, when turn signals or the hazard flashers are activated, bulbs will illuminate, but will not flash. I've looked all over, and cannot find the flasher relay. Rumor has it that it runs off the BCM, but I cannot see a computer running that kind of electrical load. When the flashers worked, I noted that I could not hear the tell tale click, click, click of the relay. Thought it might be a solid state relay. Help, where is the flasher relay for turn and hazard signals?

Flasher assembly.

Oh, well, after a trip to local Chevy service, it appears that the flasher is run off the BCM through the Hazard flasher switch. Thankfully, it was the switch, not the BCM.

Electrical issues.

Well, time for a little crow, flasher switch came in, local Chevrolet dealer installed, and problem persisted. According to Master Tech out the 2006 Torrent was the only one with a relay, and whoever owned the vehicle before me had repaired it with a two blade(groundless) flasher. $200, and two hours of tracing grounds, he installed a three blade flasher and the problem was resolved.
