Turn Signals Not Working

I have an 01 sunfire and the turn signals don't work. The hazards work fine when you turn them on, all lights flash. Sometimes when you put the turn signal on it will blink once and then stop and other times you will get nothing. Is there a fuse or a relay to check that could be going? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Check all your taillight bulbs to make sure the small wires on the sides of the bulbs have sufficient tension to properly contact the socket. In addition make sure you have no burnt out bulb in the front.

I checked all of the taillight bulbs and everything is good. I do have a burned out headlight bulb which just happened yesterday but I've had no turn signals for about a month or so.

Then try replacing the turn signal relay
