The other day I went to the store and my car ran fine. When I left the store the power came on and everything worked but the starter wouldn't crank, so I had the car towed home. I got under the car and shorted the wires on the starter solenoid and the car started, so I started tearing apart the steering column and checked out all of the wires and fuses and everything to see if anything was, loose, broken or shorted out. I saw no problems visually. I should mention that I noticed that the horn and trunk release switch stopped working at the same time. After about 3 hours of messing around on it I decided to just put the thing back together and call a shop to look at it. I decided to give the key one last turn and the car turned over and started, even though I didn't fix or change anything. I checked the horn and truck release button and they were working again as well. For the time being my car is back to normal, but I have a feeling it will do this again. Any ideas what the problem is?
