Started removal of the Intake manifold on my Fiero to get at the valve covers to adjust the valve lash. Upper Intake off (only took 2 hours) Now I have to remove the fuel rail and mid-level intake to finally get to the area I need to work on. First time really tearing into a motor on a car. Shadetree mechanic, I'm not. :) I can see all the bolts for the covers. Can I get away with leaving the mid-level intake and fuel rail on? Or is access to the valves going to be a problem?

Never tore into a Fiero, but if you have access to everything, try it, you can always take it apart further if you can't fully access the valves.

Here is the valve train I finally got to. Hydraulic lifters. Can these even be adjusted?
