hello,
i have a 97 grand am and the vents dont change position. i pulled the switch out and its not getting any vacume.
where does the vent swtich get its vacume from?
where do i need to look for vacume lines?
thanks
ok, so i found where the heater controls gets its vacume. off the trans solenoid, there is a T. after that T is another T. the picture below shows the second T coming of the trans vacume line. one line looks like it goes to a vacume resevoir/accumulator, and i dont see where the line labled B goes to.
in the glove box area, the vacume line looks like it goes into the cable bundle to the front of the car. i'm guessing the vacume line is somewhere within the cable bundle up at the front of the car.
can someone tell me where the vacume line B connects?
i found where the heater controls gets its vacume. there is a T off the trans solenoid vacume line. after that is another T pictured below. one line connects to a vacume resevoir/accumulator. the other line, labeled B goes somewhere to connect up with the vent position switch.
from inside the glove box area, i see the vent switch vacume line goes up into the wiring harness to the front of the car. i need to know where in the wiring harness the vacume line attaches to line "B".
