I purchased this Grand Prix last weekend off marketplace and didn't realize until I got home with it that it has Corvette Calipers. Initial thoughts was "Noice, Vet Calipers that's going to be a sweet ride!" But then shortly after sudden realization kicked in I got a Pontiac not a Vet 😅. Does this make a difference on what rotors and pads I buy? If so what would I need to be looking for if anyone can help? All's appreciated!

Did you remove a wheel and check if it's only a cover that says Corvette?
What size tires?

Hey yeah no it definitely looks like calipers from a Corvette not covers at all, and unfortunately where I live I'm not allowed to do any of the mechanical work so it's one of those that won't be done until I can take it to a shop near me that I know allows for me to do my own work and then at that point I'll have it jacked up take off the tires and look from there but like I said to my knowledge it 100% looks like it's a Corvette brake system. I also have people on Facebook saying that they've done it before too and they've shown me pictures of it so I'm just trying to make sure that I get the right stuff for the car. Tire size is the stock 16" rims so 225/60/16 I believe is the proper size

Does it currently need or close to needing brake pads? If not wait till it's needed and match the old pads with the new. If I had to guess 5th generation Corvette 1997 to 2004.
