Voltage regulator for 89 firebird?

How do I know where the voltage regulator actually is? I dont see it can neone show me a pic where its at or a diragram from a book or nething plz
are you sure its inside the alt? I just replaced the alt. I replaced my alternator and my battery and its not putting out put fromt he alt to the bat? They are both working fine except the fact that the alt is not charging my bat
