Was driving but all of a sudden it won't start

Ladt nightall of a sudden when we left to goget dinner my pontiac montana was running fine 2hours later went to try to go home my van wouldn't start

If you turn on the headlights and try to start do they go dim?
If they do you probably have a dead battery and can try jumping from another vehicle.
If they dont, could be a bad starter, bad neutral safety switch, bad ignition switch, bad starter relay to name a few causes.
