What adaptor should i buy for my 138 freon for pontiac montana 2001?

The adaptor will not fit that i bought at autozone for my freon-is there a special kind that You buy for GM products

why would you need an adaptor, if you bought a freon recharging kit it should come with the correct hose connection

R-134 setups have two sizes of fittings. This reduces the chance of putting the wrong hose on the wrong line (high-pressure vs. low-pressure).

To my knowledge, there is no special GM-only fitting. Suggest to look for the right fitting, which should be the low-side for a recharging kit - the larger of the two.
