Im about to purchase for a 1000 dollars a 72' ventura with a straight six. Its got a ton of surface rust but the car starts right up, drives and stops. I dont want to turn it into a show car, but I want to have some fun with it... I had a few questions.
Is it a good car in general?
How hard are parts to find for it?
What other cars have interchangeable parts with it?
Can I change the front end easily to make it look like more of a GTO or the 73' ventura split grill?
What are common problems I should look into before buying it?
How quickly will I get bored of the straight six and want to put in a V8?

Please answer any or all questions with honesty because Im going again to look at it on monday. Thanks again guys!
