...reccommend? I have a 1988 fiero GT and the stereo is completely stock. Not only are most of the speakers blown (3/4) but they don't always work. I really want to redo the soundsystem, just a simple 4 speakers with a deck system, maybe a simple 4 channel amp for added oomph and clarity. Could someone tell me what the speaker sizes are, and possibly reccommend a brand/ model to go with? Considering the car only has 17000 original miles on it I'm willing to dump a bit of cash into this. please help!
thanks in advance

The dash speakers are 4X10". Kenwood, Kicker, and Pioneer each make a decent replacement speaker. The rear sail panels use a 4X6 spekaer. There are two choices. You can go with a 4X6" coaxal speaker or some companies make a 4X6 plate which has a 3.5" woofer and a seperate tweeter.
Or you can buy a set of 4" component speakers and mount the woofer in the sail panel and the tweeter where you want.

A good place to buy speakers at a great price is: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/
