What do you need to change a CD player in a 2002 Pontiac Grand

Am? I already know that you need a special kind of installation kit because I went to a custom audio store and they said the kit was like $127 dollars or something. I'm guessing that it has to be cheaper than that online, and I've already found the wiring harness at a price of $26. I just need to know what else I need.

If the grand am has a double din, pioneer I believe makes a special sized radio just for those GM cars with the odd size stereos. Custom wiring harnesses are almost inevitable if it uses the door speaker as the key in the ignition alerter, expect to pay some money.

You could probably get the dash kit cheaper at crutchfield.com, or on eBay, are you going with the stock speakers or aftermarket, if you go aftermarket then get an amp also
