i AM getting an 87, 5-Speed, v6, Fiero GT, with only 70k miles on it, and its clean. its a great car. i wonder what you all thought about it? with a few mods i was thinkin it might be a bit faster, cus its already pretty quick tho its underpowered. Just wanted to know what anyone thought of those cars, and maybe the cheapest way to make it faster? i dont have lots of money. lol thanks for your opinions and help.

i like em.. but it all depends what your paying for it.. you can find them all over for 5 or 6 hundred bucks. my brothers looking at one for 15 hundred which is a bit much for those cars but he wants it...not sure as to giving that thing more power..i dont really del with mid engine/rear engine cars.. but i know u can stuff a 350 in there.. i've seen that done

Sounds like you found a nice car. I like Fiero's. There is a huge following for these cars. Many parts can be found at The Fiero Store ( www.fierostore.com )

As for making them faster, Some easy inexpensive things are having the exhaust manifolds ported, a good tune-up, performance exhaust, etc. The Fiero Store sells a performance exhaust, a larger bore throttlebody, headers, ignition parts, etc.

bobbyphenom is incorrect on the values.
