I was watching Gas Monkey Garage episde with a trans am and that reminded me of the two station wagons that Dave Holls of GM ordered Pininfarina to build on Firebird chassis (not Trans Ams but had Trans Am trim). I know a Calif. company trie dto make some copies but those two built in Italy were steel. I was wondering
-were they ever sold, when and where, and for how much and was that at a public auction?
-What's the cheapest one of the two originals ever sold for? Or is there only one since I heard the gold one was ordered crushed?
Thanks for any info, as I am a big fan of this body style (but not enough to buy the American made replica)
