I have been ignoring my Pontiac basket case while I wait on another Pontiac to come into my life.

For now I have been working on my 2002 Ford Ranger trying to get it looking and running good.

This have left me with Pontiac withdraws. perhaps some of you active Pontiac owners could fill the void by posting pictures of what you did or are in the process of doing to your Pontiac.

Come on don't be holding out, hook me up with a some eye candy please. :D

Well, I wish I could come with some pictures but rather I come with compassion and supportive words. I am also undergoing major Pontiac withdrawal since I am away from my G5 for already a week for work reason in a remote northern Quebec community. I haven't seen a single pontiac around: it looks like it is an endangered or extinct species. Dogs have taken over. The scene I witnessed yesterday proves my point :one dog sitting proudly on a snow buried car!
The next three and half months might be challenging since I will be carless and internet is so slow that it makes any car watching video painful. Yesterday I found a CAA magazine and I was incredibly happy: it talked about fuel economy!
So I am totally in favor of stories, pictures or whatever anyone wishes to share.
Until then I am dreaming of fixing my car's trunk, changing its oil and getting its rust treatment done. When I get back, summer tires will be on and I'll take it for a long ride somewhere in Eastern Townships in the sunset. Rain or shine, expensive gas or not, I swear I'll go on a belated birthday drive!
Happy spring time everyone and check out those expensive cars getting out of hibernation soon!

I haven't done anything either in months, the car is in a unheated garage and we had snow over night. So I don't see myself doing much for the next few weeks unless the temperatures go up. My list of things to do are basic maintenance, oil change, filter, lube the suspension and driveshaft fittings and check the trani and rear end fluid levels. Have to replace a missing rear hood bump stop which I have but didn't get a chance to install last fall due to a leaking fuel pump taking priority and then winter came.

Wow! What a find! Thank you for sharing. I feel much better already! Just like a candy (or multivitamin, maybe Pontiac is vitamin P ?) , I should have one a day ( I don't want to drool excessively and drown my keyboard... :) )while they last. Videos take a while to load but slow is good once it's going: I see each car longer :) I should really attend one of those events some days. Any of you ever gone to one?

No when I was in somewhat good shape with a decent back, I spent as much time as I could at work or working on a project around the house or on my vehicles.

Well that makes sense. I like to work on different projects too or at least do some research on it but I wouldn't mind seeing more older cars since I wasn't around on their time of glory. It's nice to have them all together to contemplate and having the opportunity to chat with their owners. I am always impressed to see how much time they put in. I have gone to two antic cars gatherings last summer but none that was just for Pontiacs si if I ever hear of one not too far away, I should really go :)
