The labor is going to run you anywhere from $350-700 depending on who you take it to. If you have some better than average mechanical and organizational skills, the right equipment, and a place to do it. You can do it yourself for nothing. The swap won't be hard. They are basically the same engine. Only differences are in the motor itself. All the mounting points, and electronics should be the same. The Firebird and Camaro are the same exact car with different front and rear body panels, and different interior items. You don't mention what the motor/tranny includes. Don't forget the little things which add up! Water pump, alternator, hoses, belts, plugs, wires, fluids, fuel pump, EGR items, AC Items, Vacuum lines, Exhaust items, etc. I'm sure i've forgotten many things.
The little stuff can very easily add up to over $1000 in a second.
Just be prepared for things you did not expect. If you do it yourself, take your time and make sure everything is put in the right places. Namely, the vacuum, wires, etc.
The 95 Camaro/Firebird is a great handling car. Mine was alot of fun.
Good luck with your swap.
