i've heard it was about 15-17 city and low 20's highway, but my dad, who makes these cars, says that this is inaccurate, and that it is really something like 11 city and 16-17 highway. what do you guys think? i have no clue. personally, 11mpg for city would be too low for me, so i'm just trying to find out the actual mpg. thanks!

It's all in how you drive them. The 15-17 in city and 20 would be at best. What your dad says would be closer to normal. Take it easy on it should get ok mpg.

if you drive 12,000 miles per year and figure premium at 3.00 per gallon the difference between the 11mpg and the 15mpg is $873. If that makes a difference to you perhaps you should not be looking at this kind of car.

Depending on the motor/tranny combo, 20 mpg is not unheard of.

I have seen mileage up to 25-30 mpg (highway) and easily over 21 in town when driven with a light foot ..
with an ls1 4l60e combination..
but being the type of vehicle it is the actual MPG is usually substancially lower..
people tend to drive them with a heavy foot ..lol..
